Macon Sense is committed to publishing a free local community newspaper that fairly covers local news and promotes community stories, all while communicating and supporting a Godly worldview.
Like all newspapers, advertising revenue is required to meet production costs and pay bills. And like all newspapers in these times, costs and revenue are a struggle. For Macon Sense, advertisements provide roughly 50% of the necessary income needed to operate.
Other newspapers fill this revenue gap by charging for their print editions or implementing paywalls on their online publications, limiting their reach and influence.
