Zonta Club of Franklin celebrated International Women’s Day by honoring local women leaders.
International Women’s Day celebrates women’s achievements and coincides with Zonta’s Rose Day, a time to remember women who have come before and who have impacted and empowered other women. Both are celebrated on March 8 annually. Zonta Club of Franklin, which meets the second Tuesday of each month, held the dinner on March 12 in place of its regular monthly meeting.
Those honored by Zonta Club of Franklin (pictured above from left) were Patty Raby of Kaylee’s Closet, Renee Vargas of Renee’s Cake Shoppe, Aubrey Balmer and Kathryn Wright of Bold Life Wellness, and Julie Adams of Together We Can. Not in attendance and not pictured, but also honored, were Patti Abel of Abel Wellness, and Ciana Speckhart of Gracious Plates on Main.
