Macon County Board of Commissioners: Consideration of Assuming Powers and Duties of the Macon County Board of Health
Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute §153A-77, the Macon County Board of Commissioners hereby gives notice of a public hearing to consider a resolution to assume the powers, responsibilities, and duties of the Macon County Board of Health.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive public input regarding the Board of Commissioners’ consideration to assume the powers, responsibilities, and duties currently held by the Macon County Board of Health, as authorized under NCGS §153A77(a) and (d).
This notice is published in accordance with the requirements of NCGS §153A-77(a), which mandates a public hearing with at least 30 days’ notice prior to the adoption of any resolution to assume such powers.
