Lazy Hiker Brewing Co.’s 10th anniversary is Saturday, June 14, with family friendly events all afternoon into the evening including a dunk tank, balloon animals, live music, karaoke, and axe throwing. Three food trucks will be on the premises.

Macon County Art Association’s Veterans Portrait Project is in its 12th year with spots for nine veterans. Macon veterans or their family members may apply at the Uptown Gallery through July 4th to have the veteran’s portrait painted by a gallery artist. There’s no cost to apply or for the portrait; the only requirement is that the veteran or a family member be present to receive the portrait on Nov. 8, the Saturday before Veterans Day.
