Community gathers for National Day of Prayer

Despite steady rain and gloomy skies, dozens turned out for the May 1 National Day of Prayer gathering at the Gazebo in Franklin. Beginning at noon, church and ministry leaders and representatives led worship songs and prayer focusing on a wide variety of topics, including the nation, schools, politicians, and first responders.
