Newspaper a creative medium for words and ideas

Letter to the Editor

From the first moment a baby utters a sound, forming a word that requests, identifies, expresses love, etc., we see and feel the joy and wonder of language. As life progresses and our vocabulary expands, we enrich our lives when we discover what seems inconceivable – that words compel the need to express our inner thoughts, feelings, and intellect with our fellow man.

Without words, none of our feelings, desires, hopes and aspirations can ever be shared or understood by our fellow human beings. What kind of world would we inhabit if there were no words?

The Macon Sense editorial page is always a treat. We see what concerns our neighbors, their ideas to improve our world, and what they would like to see done to improve our lives. The expression is of a positive bent, as is the creation of the Macon Sense newspaper.

With each edition, we are informed of other people, places, and events that make Franklin and the surrounding environs a rare gem in the world of publications. The thought, challenge, diligence, talent, and determination to create a superb newspaper is something that the residents of Macon County should applaud.

Deena Bouknight and the staff of Macon Sense, enrich the citizenry, capturing bit of history, places, people, and things, while simultaneously sharing eye candy, with memorable words.
