BRENT MARTIN and Ben Banick, with Blue Ridge Bartram Trail Conservancy, stand in front of the Bartram Trail’s newest informational kiosk on Main Street.
It includes an illustrated map showing the trail’s route from northern Georgia and beyond Nantahala Lake to Cheoah Bald. A segment of the Bartram Trail passes through downtown Franklin and connects to the Wallace Branch trailhead at the end of Pressley Road.
