Epidemic in Franklin

There seems to be an epidemic in Franklin. It is that of inconsideration. People don’t seem to care about the handicapped people that live here. It seems that the police aren’t too concerned about it either. I say this because people who are not handicapped seem to take up the handicapped parking places who do not have a legal decal for it on their cars, either a temporary or permanent one. Also, I have witnessed people with the permit getting out of their cars and practically running into whatever business they are at. It is quite obvious that some people are using a family member’s permit when the family member isn’t even with them.

I have witnessed police parking near some of these people parking in these spots, going into the same business, and never bothering to check these areas. If they did, the city would have quite a bit of revenue from the result of the tickets that would be written. Why have the law if it isn’t enforced.

There is an inoculation that would drastically slow this epidemic to almost a grinding halt. That of the fine!
