Was it coincidence or God’s intervention?

Letter to the Editor

Earlier this year I began a process for employment that would have had me commuting a few counties over. The process on some paperwork was going slower than expected for this particular job.

I ended up finding a temporary position here in town and had to put the other employment opportunity on hold, or possibly dismiss it altogether. I was told that what I’ve done up to that point is good for a year.

Three days into working at this temporary job my truck throws a fit. Two weeks on, for the truck to be repaired and back on the road. Luckily I was working locally at the time. The truck is my daily driver.

Here we are a week after the truck is fixed and as I’m checking my email this morning, I have a message from that employer I had been in contact with; they were mentioning positions available, etc.

I don’t know; with the way things turned out, the timing of the truck having its problem and I just happened to be here in town, part of me thinks that this is just a little more than coincidence.

Perhaps Jesus had the wheel on this one?
