The 11th Annual New Year Ruby Drop ushered in 2025, courtesy of the many hours of set up involved by the Crabtree family, sponsors, and volunteers to ready downtown Franklin for the festivities, including hanging the heavy “ruby” from a crane.

Crowds gathered to listen to live music by the V8s and the Blue Mountain Movement as Franklin said goodbye to 2024.

BLUE MOUNTAIN Movement played before the 9:00 p.m. drop and was followed by the V8s, who played until midnight.
THIS YEAR’S ruby had more than 1,000 lights added for this event, according to Tim Crabtree.
