I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed the amount of trash and debris on the roadside and even in the roadway! It’s just getting worse and worse! This used to be such a clean state, but everywhere you go there’s garbage! It’s a bad reflection on our town and county. It is NCDOT that is supposed to be picking up the trash on and in the roads, but they are not doing it! When they cut the grass beside the road they just run over the trash and scatter it everywhere, but I was told they are supposed to pick it up ahead of the mowers. I witnessed it myself that they are just mowing over the trash.
It’s starting to look like a garbage dump and it has never ever looked like that before. If anyone else is bothered by this, then call or email the governor’s office and complain about it and maybe they will send someone out to see for themselves that NCDOT is not doing what they are supposed to do.
