Dr. Karina Gurney, a distinguished chiropractor who has served the community for 26 years, received accreditation by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) as a Diplomate American Chiropractic Sports Physician. This prestigious designation recognizes Dr. Gurney’s expertise in the chiropractic treatment of athletic injuries and injury prevention.

She has completed more than two years of study and practical experience as set forth by the ACBSP, earning her status as an authority in the field.

Less than 500 licensed chiropractors across the United States have achieved this status. She is now positioned to offer specialized care for athletes, helping them achieve optimal performance, prevention of injuries, and recover from injuries efficiently.

Looking ahead, Dr. Gurney hopes to be selected by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) to provide chiropractic care to athletes participating in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. Her office is located at 156 White Oak St., Franklin.
