Franklin artist Norma Hendrix will present a selection of her art July 24, 6 p.m., at the Macon County Public Library. She will also highlight her experience in Wales, where she worked with three other women on art pieces showcased in a Wales exhibit. The Franklin Bird Club leads walks along the Greenway on Wednesday mornings at 8 a.m. All walks are weather dependent. 57th Annual Macon County Gemboree runs Friday, July 26, through Sunday, July 28; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
