Christmas a good time for change

Most people know about the birth of Jesus. How the angel of God came down from Heaven to tell the shepherds about Jesus and to spread the good news. How the king sent the wise men to locate where he was. Most people know he was born in a stable because there was no room at the inn. Many churches will play this scene out this Christmas.

Have you ever thought what character you are most like? Are you like the shepherds that go about spreading the gospel to neighbors, friends, and strangers?

Maybe you are like the wise men, you go to church every Sunday and give your tithes, or you sponsor a missionary, or you are committed to helping the hungry or the needy. Maybe you’re like the wise men searching for Jesus. You know a little about Jesus but you have not yet committed your life to him. Hopefully, you are not like the innkeeper and have no room for Jesus. Or, the king who wants to destroy Jesus and all the Christian values and traditions.

If you are not happy with who you portray, Christmas time would be a good time to change. Be a generous giver, but also be a proclaimer and go out and proclaim the good news about Jesus. Tell about his holiness, his forgiveness, his love, his friendship, that he is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, that he is coming back, and that he is your Savior.

Merry Christmas and God bless.
